Vision Statement
We seek a world of hope, tolerance & social justice, where poverty has been overcome, and people live in dignity, peace and harmony, and security, environmental degradation and all forms of abuse, exploitation based on age, sex and starvation, eve-teasing, and oppression to enjoy the rightful share of resources belongs to the society and to ensure spiritual needs of the community.
Mission Statement
Community Development Society amplifies the voices of the poor and marginalized in ways that influence public opinion, development practice, and policy at all levels. This happens as knowledge drawn from our grassroots and global experience is channeled through purposeful relationships with civil society, government, and the private sector.
Specific objectives of CDS
- To create self-employment through financial support among the Unemployed youths, male and female
- To make self-help for the poorest through undertaking small projects;
- To empower the poor socially and economically;
- To assist the victimized during natural calamities;
- To establish health care activities and to implement child immunization and family planning services;
- To encourage undertaking fishery, poultry, dairy, and home gardening;
- To celebrates various Govt. days;
- To ensure hygiene, sanitation, and pure drinking;
- Elaborating on women in their participation in the development process
- Mobilize the community for environmental conservation.
